The architecturally unique, 400-room Hotel le Concorde, formerly the Loews le Concorde (pictured at left below), is a Québec City landmark that, along with the Chateau Frontenac, dominates the Quebec City skyline for miles in every direction. This full-service hotel, is one of the five principal hotels in the City.

The Concorde is the western cornerstone of the picturesque Grande Allée, the Champs Élysées of Quebec, a one-block long section of Laurier Boulevard that’s the home of some of Québec City’s best restaurants, and dozens of sidewalk cafés that line both sides of the street from May through October. The hotel le Concorde is well known by its guests for having large, well-maintained guestrooms with some of the best panoramic views in the City, from the Plains of Abraham and the St. Lawrence River on the west side of the hotel,, and the Citadelle and the walled city, all the way to Isle of Orleans and Laurentian Mountains on the east. Visit Quebec recommends that visitors to the city plan on at least one dinner, ideally on the first night of their visit, at the hotel’s revolving rooftop restaurant. The restaurant is operated by the Restos Plaisir Group, the best restaurant operators in the City, and offers sweeping views in all directions during a one-hour rotation. This is highly recommended in the spring, summer, fall and winter, especially the latter, when diners can watch the ships navigate through the ice flows as they travel back and forth between the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Port of Montreal From the hotel, it is a very pleasant walk up the Grande Allee, past Place George V and the Parliament Complex, through the St. Louis Gate and into the walled City. A leisurely walk from the Concorde to the Chateau Frontenac and funiculaire to the Lower City would take about 15 minutes. And, the Concorde is the closest of all the major hotels to the Musee National des Beaux Arts de Quebec, Quebec’s provincial museum, with a major collection of Quebec Historic Art. The hotel has an indoor heated pool, two spas, two saunas, and easy valet parking.
