The Quebec Hilton occupies a strategic, corner location on Parliament Hill, just outside the wall and directly across the street from the Assemblée Nationale, Québec’s provincial parliament building on one side, and a few steps from La Porte St-Jean (the Saint John Gate), the gateway to Quebec’s Latin Quarter.  Many of its guestrooms offer panoramic views of the upper city and the St. Lawrence River and beyond.

The Hotel is just a few minutes, via the Parliament complex, from the Grande Allée, the Champs Élysées of Quebec, and a dozen or more restaurants, each with its own sidewalk café.  From there, it’s an easy walk along Laurier Boulevard to the historic Plains of Abraham and Musée Nationale des Beaux Arts de Québec, the Provincial art museum with a memorable collection of Quebec historic art.

On a nice day, it’s an pleasant, 10- to 15-minute walk through la Port St-Jean, and via the Latin Quarter, all the way to the Chateau Frontenac and the Boardwalk, and from there, on the funiculaire, to the centuries-old Lower City.

The hotel is connected via an underground passageway to the Hotel Delta Quebec, and to the parliament complex and  the observation deck at Anima G across Boulevard Rene Levesque, which is one of Quebec City’s major tourist attractions.

In winter, the hotel is directly across the street from the Winter Carnival Ice Palace, and a short walk from there into the Carnaval grounds to view the International Ice and Snow Sculpture Competition.  And, it’s a two-minute walk in winter to picturesque Place d’Youville and the adjacent to the St. John Gate to the large outdoor skating rink there.
